Dermatology Clinic seeking a friendly employee to join our team. Seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to manage the privileging, enrollment and re-verification process for medical providers. This position is located in North Little Rock, AR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate new practice/provider onboarding to ensure timely activation to payer contracts.
- Review provider documents for accuracy and manage network provider rosters.
- Resolve network provider issues related to contracting, billing, and attribution.
- Maintain network records and documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date provider data in credentialing databases and ensure timely renewal of licenses/certifications.
- Work with hospitals and health plans for provider appointment.
- Interact with patients and staff in a professional manner that promotes the values of our clinic and promotes teamwork.
- Has a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and exhibits genuine, caring and friendly behavior.
- Has the ability to be coached.
- Protects patients’ rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a physician's office or healthcare credentialing role.
- Experience with NPPES, Credentialing Software, CAQH and PECOS is a plus.
- Excellent data entry and auditing skills.
